THC’s mission for its Immediate Care Clinic is to address the increased demand for primary medical care services to the target population of low-income and uninsured residents of Baltimore City, Maryland

About the Program

In October of 2009 Total Health Care, Inc. executed a walk-in urgent care clinic at the Larry Young Division Health Center, called Immediate Care.  The program was implemented to further reduce ED use for non-emergent care; to ease access to primary care for uninsured persons by offering alternative non-emergency providers (such as a “medical home” at THC) and to expand existing services at the Larry Young Division Health Center.

Most MCO plans accepted.  Accommodations for individuals who do not have insurance.

Transportation can be arranged without cost.
